The leng-zi sprouts bloom white flowers.
He takes a wife who don’t watch the house:
Door to door she gossips. In flowing cadences she chatters.
If there’s time she’ll crack a joke.
Father-in-law beats her. Mother-in-law berates her,
But the husband comes and speaks well of her.
