3月17日，奧克蘭市政府Local Board副主席Ella Kumar親自蒞臨TCML－啟源教育中心參訪交流。此次到訪源於先前邀請其出席中心揭牌儀式，雖因市政會議未能親臨，但副主席於事後主動表達關心，並積極安排時間前來了解中心運作，展現對華語教育與社區發展的高度重視。

為促成本次參訪行程，雙方歷經10餘封電子郵件往返協調，最終順利敲定時間。當日亦獲駐奧克蘭經濟文化辦事處處長陳詠韶親自蒞臨支持，顯示官方對TCML發展的肯定與重視。

參訪流程由中心副校長曾昭如親自接待，首先由老師夏詠鈞進行簡報，介紹TCML的設立宗旨、教學特色及在地推廣成果，隨後帶領來賓參觀教學環境，並進行深入交流。透過面對面的互動，讓與會者更全面了解中心長期深耕社區、推動華語文教育的努力與成果。

交流過程中，副主席對啟源教育中心25年來在社區中的深厚連結與多元投入表達高度肯定，對其在文化教育領域的持續耕耘印象深刻。她更主動邀請中心未來前往市政府，向地方委員會進行專題簡報，進一步促進彼此合作與資源連結。

此外，副主席亦表達希望未來能促成市政府員工參與華語學習的機會，藉此提升跨文化理解與溝通能力，為多元文化社會注入更多正向動能。

TCML－啟源教育中心表示，未來將持續秉持推廣華語文與促進文化交流的理念，深化與在地社區及政府單位的合作，為紐西蘭多元文化發展貢獻心力。

Although she was unable to attend our opening ceremony due to a council meeting, she later reached out and arranged a visit, showing her strong support for community engagement and language education. After more than 10 email exchanges, the visit was successfully confirmed, with the Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Auckland also  show support.

During the visit, our Vice Principal hosted a presentation, guided a tour, and engaged in meaningful discussions. Deputy Chair Kumar was deeply impressed by Chiyuan’s 25 years of dedication and strong community connections. She kindly invited us to present at the council and also expressed interest in creating opportunities for council staff to learn Mandarin.

We look forward to further strengthening collaboration and promoting language and cultural exchange in Aotearoa New Zealand.
