Introduction 簡介
The Dublin School of Mandarin Chinese in Ireland has established the Taiwan Centre for Mandarin Learning (TCML) in the heart of Dublin, located in the Iconic Offices The Masonry. In order to accommodate the busy schedules of university students and working professionals, classes are offered on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Additionally, the TCML offers a class for parents on Saturdays at the same address as the Dublin School of Mandarin.
We use many softwares as service products, also known as SaaS, as teaching tools. With the rise of the "subscription economy," we are striving to apply this business model to our courses. Under this subscription system, we provide social activities for our students, such as WhatsApp and MeetUp, end-of-term presentations, and graduation parties, which help students establish relationships and friendships. Our cultural workshops are also a highlight, where the first 20 minutes of class are focused on listening to the teacher lecture in students’ target language. Afterwards, we provide hands-on workshop and social time, allowing students to communicate and get to know their classmates. This immersive learning method can also help higher-level students improve their listening skills and expression abilities.
愛爾蘭都柏林中文學校之臺灣華語文學習中心成立在都柏林的市中心。租借Iconic Offices The Masonry一人辦公桌和其會議室。營運時間在每週五的下班時間和週三的晚上以配合上班族。週六在僑校上課的地址同時開一個家長班。
我們透過很多軟體服務產品，也就是所謂的SaaS (Software as a Service)做教學工具。隨著「訂閲經濟」的崛起，我們正在努力將這種商業模式應用到課程中。在這種訂閲制度下，我們為學生們提供了社交活動，例如WhatsApp和MeetUp，期末成果發表和結業趴等，這有助於學生之間建立關係和友誼。文化課程也是我們的一個亮點，課程前20分鐘是專注聆聽老師用華文講課，之後我們會提供手作活動和社交時間，讓學生有機會進行交流和認識同學。這種沉浸式的學習方式也可以幫助程度較高的學生提高聽力技巧和表達能力。
