Introduction 簡介
The Taiwanese School of Atlanta officially established a Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) in 2023. The purpose is to provide a legitimate learning environment for all adults who want to learn traditional characters. By using the teaching materials provided by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) and with consideration to the needs of local students, the TCML also teaches traditional characters and oral speaking. The final aim is that students will not only gain the ability to listen, speak, read, and write, but also acquire a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture.
亞特蘭大臺美學校於2023年正式成立臺灣華語文學習中心，其目的是為了所有想要學習正體華文的成年人們提供一個合法的學習環境，藉由中華民國僑務委員會所提供的教材和結合當地學生的需求進行文字學習與口語練習教學，期許學生不但能聽、說、讀、寫，並能進一步瞭解臺灣文化。
Courses 課程特色
The curriculum is currently divided into two stages as follows, and may be adjusted according to the needs of students in the future:
Beginner Level-Course Objective: Students will be able to make self-introductions, express their preferences and describe their surrounding environments. They will also be able to independently order food in a restaurant, order takeout, and go shopping. Additionally, they will be able to ask and answer questions related to their daily lives.
Intermediate Level-Course Objective: Students will be able to express their needs using complete sentences, talk about their past experiences and their future goals. They will also be able to communicate fluently with others in Mandarin.
目前課程分兩個階段，以後將會依學生需求再作調整
1.初級班-結業目標：能夠自我介紹，簡單表達自己的喜好和對周遭事物的描述，可以獨立在餐廳點菜、點外賣、買東西。能夠詢問和回答日常生活中相關的問題。
2.中級班-結業目標：能夠使用完整的句子表達自己需求、介紹自己過去的經驗和對未來的目標。能夠自在地用華文與人交流。
