Introduction 簡介

Tzu Chi Education endeavors to provide quality language education and humanities cultivation from an early age, offering a comprehensive educational ideal from kindergarten to adulthood. Implementing holistic education, the most important aspect is to inspire the "positive abilities" in everyone. Situated in the eastern United States, Tzu Chi Boston Humanities School aims to provide a well-rounded learning environment, offering individuals of various ages the opportunity to learn Mandarin and understand Tzu Chi's humanistic values.

In 2022, invited by the Boston Overseas Chinese Education Center, the school became a designated "Taiwanese Mandarin Language Center (TCML)." After 10 months of preparation, the opening ceremony was finally held on March 25th at the Tzu Chi Boston liaison office. Distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the inauguration of the first Tzu Chi Humanities School in the United States as a "Mandarin Language Center." The TCML aims to recruit adults, enabling them to enrich themselves amidst their busy work and family life.

Highlights of Tzu Chi Boston Humanities School Mandarin Language Center:
1. Strong faculty, innovative and lively teaching methods, addressing the challenges of learning traditional characters. Many adults have already achieved proficiency.
2. Cultural courses complement Tzu Chi's humanistic teachings, with rich content highly appreciated by students, especially courses on tea and flower arrangement.
3. Courses cater to students' situations, offering both evening online courses and daytime in-person classes. Notably, the school provides customized courses tailored to the needs of business professionals, government officials, and individuals with specific requirements, ensuring substantial and rapid assistance.

慈濟教育志業，從小提供良好的語文教育與人文素養，從幼兒園到成人的教育完全化的理想，落實全人教育，最重要的是啟發人人的「良能」。而位居美國東部的麻薩諸塞州慈濟波士頓人文學校，更希望能提供全方位的學習環境，讓不同年紀的人有機會學習華文與認識慈濟人文。

2022年經波士頓僑教中心邀請，通過成為「臺灣華語文中心」的指定學校。在歷經10個月的籌備時間，終於在三月二十五日當天假慈濟波士頓聯絡處舉行開幕揭牌儀式。各方嘉賓齊聚慶賀，祝福慈濟全美第一所人文學校成立「華語文學習中心」的開幕，將學習的招生對象涵括至成年人，讓他們在忙碌的工作與家庭生活中，有機會再充實自己。

波士頓慈濟人文學校華語文中心的特色
1. 師資陣容優良，教學新穎活潑，打破正體字學習的問題，目前已有許多成人學習良好。
2. 文化課搭配慈濟的人文課，豐富的內容，深受同學們喜愛，特別是茶、花道。
3. 課程因應學生的狀況，有晚上線上課程與白天實體課程。最特別的是，校方根據學生的需求，提供量身訂製的課程，讓商務人士、政府機關人士，及有特殊需求的人，能有實質及快速的幫助。

Tuition and fees: $600 annual tuition (two semesters), plus $30 registration fee per student.Tzu Chi Academy parents receive a 30% discount, with annual tuition of $420, plus $30 registration fee per student.

Tuition and fees: Sign up for one section (12 weeks, 36hours ) is $300
